Coolfog systems pressurise water through nozzles designed to produce water droplet particles known as fog that will evaporate into the atmosphere within seconds. In greenhouse applications where diseases and insect pests are required to be treated for, liquid pesticides can be injected into the suction side of the Coolfog system via a Dosmatic non-electric proportional liquid dispenser. This procedure is usually applied at night. These pesticides are then dispersed with the fog into the atmosphere, thereby controlling any diseases and pests and improving product quality.
